Saanich Peninsula Cloverbuds
The Saanich Peninsula Cloverbud Club invites six to eight year olds to explore the various 4-H projects. We keep it fun, interactive, and adhere to our “learn by doing motto”. We get to work with our members by giving them hands on experience while getting them comfortable in a learning environment supportive of individual growth.
The club also helps and encourages our youth to learn various communication skills, such as making educational boards, judging, and participating in public speaking. Along with the communication portions we are exploring sheep, poultry, outdoor living, bees, beef, and horticulture. We often do field trips, visit farms, and the other 4-H clubs to offer new and different experiences.
If you are interested in joining our club next year we will be discovering rabbits, food, small engines, safety on the farm, llama, crafts, and dairy. We start our first meeting off in January and end around September or October.
Please contact Sheri Ramsay for more information on becoming a Cloverbud for our 2019 year. You can also check our blog spot to see some of the skills we learn and do. http://cloverbuds.blogspot.com/
Registration starts in November. There are a limited number of spots due to a child/leader ratio. Email sheriramsay4h@gmail.com for more information or to be added to the registration list.
